Software and online business solutions provider Sage is set to host a 45-minute webinar on the latest desktop and cloud software for SMEs.

In April the company transformed its Sage 200 software to increase the usability and flexibility for users. The next generation business management solution offers an affordable way to improve business efficiency.

The powerful software package is designed to allow small and medium-sized firms to run their entire business through a single, business-wide platform.

New features in the version of the software unveiled in April include:

  • Summary pages – at-a-glance visibility of key business KPIs through interactive, highly visual summaries of sales, purchases, orders, and finances.
  • Latest legislation – new functionality will accommodate HMRC’s changes to Settlement Discount from the beginning of April 2015.
  • New Sage CRM – the latest version of Sage CRM isavailable with Sage 200 on premise, allowing customers to take full advantage of the latest features, such as enhanced mail merge functionality and MailChimp integration, as well as apps for the iPhone providing mobile access for sales teams.

Paul Turner from Bordeaux Wine Index, which uses the software, described the product as “a solution that not only allows us to be responsive and agile, but one that can evolve with us as we grow”.

“It provides us with a comprehensive view of our entire business, delivering new levels of insight and dramatically increased internal efficiencies,” he continued.

“Sage 200 2015 takes this a step further with an incredibly intuitive new design and improved reporting capabilities, and we’re already benefitting from greater efficiency and accelerated business growth.”

John Chinery, Sage 200 product manager at K3 FDS, added that he believes Sage 200 “matches a fresh, modern look with recognisable tried-and-tested functionality”.

“We’re particularly excited to see the CRM ‘Accelerators’, as these mean that KPI data is much more easily accessed,” he said.

“These pre-configured alerts, notifications, workflows, and dashboards mean that business owners are kept up to date with the information they need, as and when they need it. Ideal for busy business owners.”

The Sage 200 webinar sessions will run on alternate weeks from 26 June 2015.
