Done deals:

  • Oil and gas producer Rockhopper Exploration plc has placed 3,780,000 shares at 101 pence each through Landsbanki Securities, raising £3.8 million before expenses
  • Chromex Mining plc, a chrome mining company, has acquired the remaining 49 per cent of Ilitha Mining from Hernic Ferrochrome, for ZAR 45 million (£3 million)
  • A consortium of investors, led by entrepreneur Stan Thomas has bought Van supplier Vans Direct

  • Swedish wastewater company ITT Water & Wastewater has purchased pump rental firm Arrow Rentals
  • Fresh food supplier Total Produce plc has agreed to acquire 60 per cent of Dutch salad producers Haluco and Nedalpac for up to €23 million (£18.3 million)

  • Advanced Power Components plc, a specialist distributor and manufacturers’ representative of electronic components, is set to acquire a distributor of various ranges of data input devices, for up to £1 million
