Shortlist for entrepreneur of the year announced

Category one of many featured in the Smith & Williamson National Business Awards

10 of the top entrepreneurs in the country have been shortlisted at the Smith & Williamson National Business Awards.

The entrepreneur of the year category is one of 18 that celebrate the top organisations and individuals in British business.

Across all categories there are more than 140 nominees for awards including the customer focus awards, growth business of the year and employer of the year.

The nominees for entrepreneur of the year include MVF Titus Sharpe and Andrew Yates of Artesian Solutions. Among the companies a wide range is represented, from sectors including recruitment and children’s clothing.

Tom Broughton, programme director of the National Business Awards, said: “This shortlist is a selection of highly impressive business figures that have demonstrated a keen entrepreneurial mind over the past year – and have consequentially helped further progress their businesses both financially and in terms of scale.”
