Nominations are now open for the Women in Finance Awards London 2020

Nominations are now open for the Women in Finance Awards in London. Here are the categories you can enter and how to apply.

Nominations are open for The Women in Finance Awards, hosted by Growth Business, What Investment, DiversityQ and Bonhill Group.

Taking place on the 9th June 2020 at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London, the evening will recognise new role models while showcasing the value of promoting greater diversity across all financial job functions.

The percentage of female financial services industry leaders globally is still sitting at 12pc, even with workplace diversity initiatives in place.

Stereotypes around the types of role in finance all too often discourage women from getting into the industry. And unfortunately, both recruiting and retaining female employees has become more difficult for businesses.

Now in its 3rd year, the Women in Finance Awards is a leading platform in raising the profile of women’s achievements by recognising their efforts in a heavily male-populated industry.

Bridging the gap on gender diversity is very much an ongoing global discussion as we look to challenge the statistics and cut the stereotypes surrounding job roles within the finance industry. To guide us towards our objective, we have 19 categories including the new ESG Fund Manager, Investment Consultant, Male Ally and Stockbroker of the Year award. The deadline for nominations is 8th March 2020.

Nominate now for this year's Women in Finance Awards

If you know someone who deserves to receive an accolade for their contribution, or if you would like to nominate yourself for an award, click here. Submissions are reviewed by an independent panel of judges who will consider each nomination and vote on the winners for each category.

Last year’s event hosted over 700 of the UK’s top finance leaders who witnessed 20 finance professionals awarded for their achievements and contribution to the industry.

This year, it could be you or a deserving colleague receiving an award on 9th June! For a chance to do so, submit your nomination by clicking here or for more information on the event visit www.womeninfinance.co.uk.
