In House buys Avanti Properties

Warrington-based real estate group In House Group Plc has acquired Avanti Properties. The properties owned by Avanti have been valued at some £1.3 million.

  • Hotel group Kew Green Hotels has completed a £140 million re-financing. New longer-term financing has been secured through a syndicate of banks comprising Bank of Scotland Integrated Finance, Barclays and Lloyds TSB
  • Q-Park is now the 100 per cent shareholder of QT Partnership after buying the 50 per cent stake in the business it did not already own from Town Centre Securities Plc, a Leeds-based property investment and development company. The total consideration was £8.7 million in cash
  • Berlin-based language learning site Babbel, has acquired FriendsAbroad, a UK-based language community startup. The amount of the deal has not been disclosed but is understood to be for cash
