Homeserve plc, an emergency call out and repair specialist, has expanded its operations internationally after buying FCC Construccion’s property repair services business Reparalia in Spain.

The group bought Reparalia after appointing A.T. Kearney to identify and evaluate potential targets in Spain.

The firm, which was led by partner Emmanuel Yoo and manager Javier Orduna, also managed the commercial and operational due diligence reviews.

Yoo said the firm has provided transaction services and strategic advice to Homeserve for seveal years. “We contributed with our analytical framework and expertise of the Spanish insurance market and home repairs business.

“We envisage a successful evolution of Homeserve’s business in Spain, leveraging the combination of Reparalia’s domestic market presence and growth capabilities with Homeserve’s experience of home repairs.”
