BT buys Lynx and all today’s headlines

In today's headlines consultancy WSP has completed two deals for £21 million and construction firm ROK buys Avonside Services Group for £16.5 million.

Done deals

Telecommunications provider BT has acquired IT services firm Lynx Technology for undisclosed terms.

Communications and marketing group Hasgrove has bagged digital agencies Pavillion Communication Services and Odyssey Interactive for £14 million.

Carclo has acquired the remaining 25.6% of Conductive Inkjet Technology for an undisclosed sum.

Specialist holiday and activity group Holidaybreak has acquired educational tour organiser NST Holdings for £47.2 million in cash.

WSP, a property, transport and environmental project management and consultancy service firm, has purchsed Chas. H. Sells, US-based transport and infrastructure engineer, for £10 million.

WSP has also bought German engineering and project management group Consulting Engineers for £4.5 million.

Construction and maintenance firm ROK has bought Avonside Services Group, a plumbing, heating and electrical services business, for £16.5 million.

Servoca, a specialist outsourced solutions provider to the public sector, has purchased Firstpoint Healthcare out of administration. The initial price for the healthcare recruitment firm is £700,000.

Property tycoon Roy Thomas has bought Visteon’s factory complex for a multi-million pound undisclosed sum.

Acorn Business Supplies has boosted its capabilities in the provision of office supplies after acquiring TCC and TCC Direct , for undisclosed terms.
