Health IT group Ascribe has purchased Scorpio Information Systems, a supplier of clinical information management systems to the UK National Health Service, for £1.31 million.
Health IT group Ascribe has purchased Scorpio Information Systems, a supplier of clinical information management systems to the UK National Health Service, for £1.31 million.
On completion, Ascribe will pay £600,000 comprising £880,000 cash and a share issue to the tune of £430,000. The board believes the acquisition will be earnings enhancing during the first year.
The acquisition enables Ascribe to expand its group offering with a greater range of patient-centric information management systems.
Royal Bank of Scotland was the senior debt provider to Ascribe. James Nelson, director in RBS corporate banking, led the team. He commented: “Ascribe is an existing customer of the bank and RBS was delighted to be able to support its continued growth.”
