Software developer STL Technologies has sold its telecoms division to Luton-based Admiral Business Systems for an undisclosed sum.

Peter Watson, managing director of Prism Corporate Broking which advised on the deal, says, ‘There was a clear logic to disposing of the telecoms division which was largely self-contained. STL was keen to ensure continuity for both staff and customers alike and Admiral was able to provide this assurance.’

Adds Watson, ‘STL can now fully focus on their software development business.’

STL Technologies creates software used in the criminal justice field. Its telecoms division provides telephone system maintenance services and will now be integrated into Admiral’s existing operations.
