Morley has expanded its portfolio to £32.5 billion in property assets with the purchase, buying the property from Henderson Central London Office Fund. The latter was represented by Kirkpatrick & Lockhart Preston Gates Ellis LLP (K&L Gates).

Tenants of the 65,000sq ft building include hedge funds and specialist fund managers such as Allianz Specialised Investments, Cairn Capital, Oaktree Capital Management and Clariden Asset Management.

K&L Gates real estate partners Wayne Smith and Christian Major led the legal team advising the vendors. The firm comprises approximately 1,400 lawyers in 22 offices in North America, Europe and Asia and represents capital markets participants, entrepreneurs, growth and middle market companies, leading FORTUNE 100 and FTSE 100 global corporations and public sector entities.
