Johnson Matthey sells ‘non-core’ businesses


Johnson Matthey, a specialist in advanced materials technology, has completed the sale of two non-core businesses. Ceramic Insulators and Alumina, which were acquired as part of Argillon Group in February, have been sold to Lapp Insulator GmbH & Co, a producer of insulators, for €21 million (£17 million) in cash and a €2 million vendor loan note
