Land restoration company Frankis Solutions has secured £2 million from Octopus Ventures, which is investing on behalf of the government’s Capital for Enterprise Fund.

The investment will strengthen the company’s balance sheet, as well as helping it recruit additional staff and buy new equipment.

Rupert Bell, investment director at Octopus Ventures, says: ‘FSL is a specialist operator and one of the leaders in its field.

‘It has shown impressive growth despite the downturn, which had a serious impact on the construction industry, and now has a record sales pipeline.’

Kent-based Frankis offers services including land remediation, groundworks and demolition.
